3. Peanut butter cups with chocolate crackling
These chocolate-crackle peanut butter cups are quick, simple, entertaining, and completely addictive with just five ingredients (plus a dash of salt).
Ingredients
- 75g of white marshmallows.
- A half tablespoon of thickened cream.
- 100g (2 cups) Coco Pops from Kellogg's.
- Six 42g packets Paper cases for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have been eliminated.
- To serve, 200g of CADBURY Baking Dark Chocolate Melts with sea salt flakes.
Method
Step 1
In a small saucepan, boil the cream and marshmallows over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly blended, about 2 to 3 minutes. Allow it cool slightly for two minutes.
Step 2
The Coco Pops should be put in a big bowl. Stir the marshmallow mixture into the Coco Pops until they are evenly covered.
Step 3
Apply a thin layer of oil spray to twelve 40ml patty pans. Put a Peanut Butter Cup in each pan's bottom. Place the Coco Pop mixture on top using two spoons, then gently press down with somewhat moist palms to compress. Put in the refrigerator to solidify.
Step 5
Put the melted dark chocolate in a bowl that is safe to use in the microwave. For two to three minutes, heat the chocolate in the microwave on Medium, stirring every 30 seconds, until it is smooth and melted. (If you want to melt the chocolate over the stovetop, put it in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, making sure the water doesn't contact the pan's bottom, and stir until it's smooth.)
